The first day of the Systaic Event, Fest der Dressur, at our Gestüt Vorwerk in Cappeln/GER got off to a good start with the victory of Schickeria under Helen Langenhanenberg/GER in the elementary (L) level test for young dressage horses. A 9.5 was given for the trot of this Westphalian Sir Donnerhall I daughter and a 9.0 for her canter and overall impression. So in total an 8.8. Siena OLD, a half-sister of Augustin OLD also bred by my mother, did a fantastic job under Kira Wulferding/GER and took fourth place overall with a score of 8.4.

Little Rosa is just two years old and has leukemia. The only thing that can save her is a stem cell transplant. For this reason, we decided to organize type testing during our Systaic Event, Fest der Dressur, at Gestüt Vorwerk in Cappeln. We are looking for Rosa's "genetic twin". The more people who have their type tested, i.e. allow their type to be recorded in the German Bone Marrow Donator Data Base (DKMS), the greater the chances are for Rosa and other patients with leukemia. And the whole procedure is really very easy: A simple little blood test, taking just 5 ml of blood is all that is needed to determine the initial tissue characteristics. But cash donations are also most welcome and can also help - the registration of someone willing to save a life costs the DKMS 50 Euros.

Augustin OLD is on the cover of the latest August edition of the German magazine Pferdeforum which makes me very proud. But he earned it too when I think about his latest achievements and particularly his grand sixth place in the Dressage Prize of Aachen. For the next week, our show at Gestüt Vorwerk in Cappeln/GER is scheduled. I would really be pleased if I could welcome you, dear readers, at the Systaic Event, Fest der Dressur.

She made it! At the International Festival in Verden/GER, Della Cavalleria OLD won the St. Georges Special which was also a qualifier for the Burg-Pokal. This Diamond Hit mare that we discovered at an auction in Vechta/GER just added another gold star to her still young career. Under her trainer Kira Wulferding she won the Oldenburg Dressage Horse Championships three times and in 2009 she took silver at the Bundeschampionat. Now she has turned seven, she easily took the hurdle to advanced level.
Della Cavalleria OLD and Kira Wulferding not only won the qualfier with 71.55 percent but also the warm-up test with 71.41 percent - and there were 38 competitors!

On August 1st, my mother's Olympic victory with her unforgotten gray horse, Mon Cherie, was exactly 30 years ago. Since then she has also been the BFV President. For the head of the local government, Dr. Josef Pühringer (right), and Viktor Sigl (left), responsible for local sport affairs, it was a reason to once again celebrate her historical victory and to award her the Austrian Consul title for Upper Austrian Sport Affairs.
"With her victory at the Olympic Games, our Sissy went down in the sport history of our state. She is an exemplary model for all of us in regard to her engagement for the community and for sport", praised Dr. Josef Pühringer and Viktor Sigl: "Sissy Max-Theurer not only contributed to the excellent reputation of Upper Austria as a sport country the world over with her historical success 30 years ago, she has also always been engaged throughout Austria and is an expert in the field of equestrian sport. The sport land of Upper Austrian sport land couldn't have better ambassador."

At the press conference held for the upcoming Fest der Dressur at Gestüt Vorwerk in Cappeln/GER, the brand new German European Young Champions, Fabienne Lütkemeier and Charlott-Maria Schürmann, were also present who you see here after being congratulated by my mother and the Escon Marketing Director, Dr. Kaspar Funke, for their outstanding success. Also present were the A-team riders Christoph Koschel and Wolfram Wittig, the trainer of Isabell Werth who is highly successful in the Grand Prix dressage ring himself. Just like the two young ladies, they have promised to come to the Fest der Dressur. It's already quite obvious that first class competitors will be found in Cappeln.
